Chicken thighs are extremely simple to cook. By simply using sichuan peppercorns will give you a sweet and spicy aromatic flavors. This recipe comes out delicious, tender and juicy.
Marinade:
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon shaoxing wine
- 1 teaspoon of rice vinegar
Ingredients:
- 1 chili
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 1 piece of fresh sliced ginger
- 1 teaspoon of Szechuan peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon of orange zest
- 3 chopped green onions
- soy sauce to taste
- sesame oil to taste
Instructions:
- Heat up your pan and add in your chili, garlic and sliced ginger to flavor the oil without burning.
- Add Szechuan peppercorns and orange zest along with the chicken thighs and marinade.
- Fry until the chicken is brown and sauce is thick
- Finish with chopped spring onions, few drops of soy sauce and sesame oil.
